HAZELHURST REGIONAL GALLERY & ARTS CENTRE (Gymea)
Pop into Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Arts Centre for a creative experience that caters to all ages and interests. The gallery offers an exhibition of local artists as well as an extensive range of public artworks for viewing. Additionally, Hazelhurst is equipped with an art centre, which hosts a wide variety of art classes including painting, ceramics, photography and jewellery making. The gallery is home to a café overlooking beautifully landscaped gardens, as well as a small theatre used for special events like films and lectures.

SOMETHING AT MARY'S (Bundeena)
To get to Something at Mary's in Bundeena, hop on a ferry from Cronulla and enjoy the sea breeze. It'll be worth the scenic journey when you reach this adorable combined gallery and home studio. The classes are small and intimate and taught by Marion, the gallery owner, herself. At Something at Mary's, students can learn throwing, spinning and sculpting. If you're looking to try something a little bit different and are keen to create things such as teapots and ceramic plates, Mary's is the place to go.

THE BUNDEENA MAIANBAR ART TRAIL (Bundeena)
On the first Sunday of every month, the Bundeena and Maianbar Art trail is held for those wanting to appreciate local artists and view their works directly in their studios. With painting, jewellery and pottery on offer, there's a diverse range to view, buy or take a hand to yourself. When finished, feel free to head on down to Market By The Sea, held at Royal National Park. Maps for the trail are available from the website.

CRONULLA ART GALLERIES & INTERIORS (Cronulla)
This gallery, owned by artist John Vander, features an admirable collection of paintings, homewares and furniture. The gallery exhibits work from both upcoming and well known Australia's artists. Just a short walk from Cronulla Beach and right in the centre of the restaurant precinct, it's easy enough to stop in and browse some of the fine work on display.

ST GEORGE & SUTHERLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE (Jannali)
The St George and Sutherland Community College offers a number of art classes to bring out your inner artist. Take specialty classes in painting (including acrylic, impressionist and Chinese brush), drawing, ceramics, calligraphy, watercolours, mosaics and more. The college even offers excursions such as nature drawing trips or art gallery tours. So get geared up and get arty!

ART GALLERY KURNELL (Kurnell)
If you're after a diverse and authentically local art experience, the gallery in Kurnell has got you covered. The co-op is run by ten local artists showcasing their paintings, drawings, jewellery, assorted crafts and photography. The gallery is located right on the edge of picturesque Botany Bay and all of the unique and original artworks are available for sale.
