#NaboVolunteers: Are you the winner of $500?

This month, Nabo is raising awareness about National Volunteer Week. Volunteers are such an important part of our community and their work doesn’t go unnoticed. To celebrate all the amazing things our volunteers do, we’ve been encouraging all Nabo members to nominate either themselves or a neighbour as a #NaboVolunteer. We’re giving away 3 x $500 Community Grants to three deserving organisations and all you have to do is create a post highlighting how your #NaboVolunteer could use that money for their organisation.

We’ve been overwhelmed by the response from the Nabo community and with so many responses, it’s been difficult to narrow it down. We still have 2 Community Grants to give away, so keep those nominations coming, but our first winner is…

AAA Sports Ballarat!

AAA Sports Ballarat is a not for profit organisation which provides grass roots sporting opportunities for children with special needs and disabilities. Nabo member, Kellie Tait, runs the organisation with her husband Brad and they’ll be using the $500 to invest in sports equipment for the children. Nabo would like to take this opportunity to thank Kellie and Brad for their commitment to their community.
