3D PRINTING: THE FUTURE IS NOW, Thursday 15 June (Rhodes)

As part of Vivid Ideas, a worldwide convention celebrating creative innovation, a group of leaders in design, medicine, science, social innovation and more will be discussing 3D printing. The main agenda will be to have a conversation about how 3D printing is fast becoming a popular form of technology, as well as to discuss how it will shape our future. Join these established individuals for an enlightening talk about this imaginative form of machinery.

DAVE WARNER AT DJANGO BAR, Thursday 15 June (Marrickville)

A night at the Camelot with drinks, good friends and live music by renowned punk-rock musician and writer, Dave Warner. The singer will be performing a selection of songs from his latest album WHEN, some old favourites, as well as some poetry and stories. He'll also be joined by some familiar faces, at least for those of you in the know!

2017 HUNGRY JACK'S ICE HOCKEY CLASSIC, Saturday 17 June (Sydney Olympic Park)

Come along for this year's instalment of the Hungry Jack's Ice Hockey Classic, featuring a game between rivals, Team USA and Canada. Will last year's champs reign again? Or will Team USA take the throne this year? This game is sure to be exciting and action packed, so don't miss it!

THE CLEAN HOUSE BY SARAH RUHL, Sunday 18 June (Newtown)

Head over to Newtown to watch a local production of Sarah Ruhl’s Pultizer Prize-nominated and wryly comical play. The play centres on three women of diverse backgrounds; a Brazilian maid who dreams of being a comedian, Lane, her employer who is a doctor in her 50s and the terminally ill woman Lane’s husband falls for, Ana. If you’re tired of male-driven plays, or just want to enjoy a good show, come to see the Clean House.

MEET YOSHIKO TEKEUCHI, Tuesday 20 June (Concord)

Looking to spruce up your meals by making them a little healthier? Come down to Concord Library for a meet-up with Yoshiko Tekeuchi, the author of Japanese Superfoods, and sample some of the foods yourself! If you're not aware, Tekeuchi's book details Japan's most widely used super foods and lists their benefits, as well as delicious recipes that allow you to incorporate ancient healthy ingredients such as matcha and miso into your everyday meals.
